Business Development Manager

Company Description:

BTL Property is a leading design and build company, based in South West London. We work with clients from concept to completion focusing on Architectural and Interior Design, Audio Visual specifications and the Build itself.

The Company was founded in 2002 and since then we have worked on hundreds of projects across South West London. The business development department was introduced to assist with the number of sales enquiries predominantly with regard to the construction side of the business.

The Role

We currently have a position available for an Business Development Manager (BDM) who will sit within the Business Development Team. The BDM will price up architectural drawings and detailed specifications of mid to large-scale residential refurbishment projects within South West London.

  • Assist with incoming sales enquiries
  • Visit potential clients at their property, carry out on-site due diligence and up-sell the wider BTL offering
  • Work alongside our architectural team, form build estimates and win 'design and build' projects
  • Complete formal tenders for both our in-house architectural team and external architects and win the build/refurbishment project
  • Research suppliers, build relationships and source best prices for interior specifications
  • Business development using external sources, namely; architects, designers, developers and estate agents
  • Ownership of end to end sales process. From initial call, site visit, forming quotes, follow-up cost-engineering meetings, winning the business and agreeing contracts
  • Coordinate and work closely with heads of departments to ensure a smooth transition between the different stages of the project life cycle, so clients receive a seamless service
  • Meet and exceed department and company targets, by working collaboratively with the wider business

Skill Requirements:

  • Good IT skills
  • Must be fluent with Office Suite
  • Full UK/EU driving licence essential

The successful applicant will receive:

  • Salary dependent upon experience
  • Annual discretionary bonus dependent on company and individual performance
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Training Time off for external training courses for continued professional development considered in addition to annual holiday allowance. To be funded by the individual and offered after 1 year of service and dependant on continued employment for 1 year thereafter. Mandatory monthly in-house training sessions
