BTL Property is a South West London based company that design and build properties as well as manage tenancies on behalf of landlords. We offer a complete service, either to 'design and build', or to work with Architects and Interior designers that you have already appointed.
The Company was founded in 2002 and since then we have worked on hundreds of projects and have established ourselves as one of South West London's leading builders with our Design team not far behind with its reputation.
BTL Property has an opportunity, for an immediate start, for a talented and highly motivated Part 2 Interior Architect to join its team in Wimbledon. You will be required to provide design assistance to the senior designers in order to quote, win, design and manage residential/luxury residential projects. Salary commensurate with experience
·Design projects in collaboration with senior designers
·Undertake surveys and draw existing layouts
·Prepare drawings for planning submission
·Prepare construction drawings and provide detail to drawings when required
·Submit building control drawings and liaise with the council and contractor to provide a "buildable solution"
·Assist in design meetings, offering views and taking minutes.
·Work with the senior Interior designer to offer a full interior design package when required
·Create mood boards for clients when required
·Draft up electrical layouts
·Continually update and improve presentation methods
·Maintain the high quality of drawings within the design department
·Draw customised joinery construction drawings in AutoCad.
·Provide Photoshop and 3D representations of client schemes when required
·Liaise with site managers and project managers when required
·Report on the status of the projects at weekly intervals and ensuring all project management reports & spreadsheets are up to date
·Deliver design projects on time and on budget
·Must have a strong creative flair and an eye for detail

Essential skill requirements:
·Strong technical drawing skills in AutoCAD
·Part 2 Architect
·Experience in the UK residential sector
·Full EU driving license and comfortable driving around London - you will be required to drive most days
·InDesign and Photoshop
·Microsoft Office applications
·Fluent in written and spoken English
·All legal permits and visas required to work in the UK
