Senior Interior Designer

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: FULL TIME (3 Month Probationary Period)

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated full-time Senior Interior Designer with UK based experience to join our team and be based in our office in Fulham.

This person will be responsible for a range of tasks including the creation of quality design work and the development of projects from initial design right through to planning approval and build completion. Working closely with the three-person interior design team as well as interfacing with clients. Work will include multiple residential projects of varying scales. This position is for full-time, in-house employment only.

  • Have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Be able to work well in a team and confidently as an individual
  • Have good attention to detail and hyper organised
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client facing
  • Be ready to learn and work using one's own initiative
  • Strong technical drawing skills in AutoCAD
  • InDesign and Photoshop
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • 5 or more years experience
  • Full EU driving licence and comfortable driving around London - you will be required to drive most days
  • All legal permits and visas required to work in the UK

Main responsibilities are:

  • Effective and efficient management of all ID projects
  • Take responsibility for the design and day to day management of projects
  • Reporting on the status of the department at weekly intervals
  • Day to day HR, training requirements and management of Interior and Junior Designers
  • Delivering ID sales and monitoring progress of each deal in the CRM system
  • Responsible for ensuring ID Dept. meets its financial and productivity targets
  • Commissioning and negotiating purchases from suppliers
  • Responsible for the accuracy, quality and timely delivery of customer specifications and orders
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the ID portfolio
